About Us

OUR HISTORY
Fundación Niños en el Arte is an Ecuadorian nonprofit organization that has been working since 2014 to provide children and adolescents in rural and priority-care areas with access to high-quality artistic, cultural, and community experiences.
We were founded on the belief that art, reading, play, and movement are also essential tools for holistic development, critical thinking, and the exercise of children’s cultural rights.
For over a decade, we have developed sustained programs for artistic education and community support in various provinces of Ecuador, working alongside rural schools, teachers, families, and communities.
Currently, our programs benefit more than 1,300 children and adolescents between the ages of 4 and 17 each year through workshops in visual arts, reading, physical expression, creative recycling, community activities, and awareness-raising initiatives linked to the local area and the environment.
At Fundación Niños en el Arte, we are committed to long-term initiatives that strengthen the imagination, sensitivity, participation, and capacity of new generations to build communities that are more humane, creative, and mindful of their surroundings.
