COMMUNITY ARTS PROJECT IN THE CLASSROOM

Carrying out artistic training workshops aimed at girls, boys, and adolescents aged 4 to 17..

We work to generate  a process of awareness and consciousness around  the conservation of natural resources and intangible heritage, in addition to promoting reading and the development of critical thinking.

Objective

Offer creative tools, techniques, and sensitization processes that allow the community to empower itself and continue with initiatives in favor of children and the community itself.

Specific objectives
  • 3 art workshops for six weeks each.
  • 1 final exhibition of the process experienced in each of the training workshops for girls and boys for their communities.
  • 1 Journalism Club
  • Presentation of the documentary video of the process experienced by girls and boys

  • Awareness and conservation of the environment.

  • Children's right to enjoyment and recreation.
  • Promotion of reading.

Who benefits from this project each year?

395 Girls, boys and adolescents approximately from 3 to 17 years old from El Topo in the parish of San Pablo del Lago who attend rural school.
